Today, I went to the RelioQuick Auto Mall expo held at Chennai Trade Center, Nandambakkam. Actually, they had advertised a “green pavilion” in the news paper and hence I thought I could see electric cars and electric bikes. But, there was not even a single electric vehicle in the whole exhibition! Not even Mahindra e20, even though the company had other cars in display.

I was disappointed, but then, I did get a chance to click all these beauties presented in this post. They had some vintage cars, Harley Davidson ‘motor cycles’ and cars from some luxury brands like VolksWagen, BMW, Skoda, Volvo, Audi, etc. in display. Have a look at some pictures I clicked @ RelioQuick Auto Mall expo, Chennai –

    The photos are excellent.
Power of engine is a great thing. But motorcycle with a power of a car, very unsafe I will say.

I guess they are unsafe on Indian roads, at least!

I am not a big fan of automobiles, but that Harley Davidson looks so elegant :-), And one day I’m going to buy an Audi 🙂

One day, I will also buy an Audi, if it comes with an electric engine variant powered by solar panels 😉

There were a very few vintage cars… I missed going to the flagging ceremony of a vintage car rally from Chennai to Pondy. I could have clicked so many photos….

Great shots. Apart from the bikes and vintage cars – the rest are extremely common here in the UK, like for example the Audi R8 is owned by two of my closest friends. I do, however, like the vintage cars. Tell me: Are these widely available in India and do people actually collect them?

There was a vintage car rally where about 40 cars from Chennai went to Pondicherry and came back. So, I guess there should be some people collecting vintage cars in every city. I am not sure how easily they are available or how many might be available. Another place where I have seen vintage cars is the Nizam’s Chowmahalla Palace (open for public viewing) in Hyderabad.

All these cars look stunning. Among all, I liked the vintage one at first… wonder how it still glistening. I can understand your frustrate. I wish the organizer also give preference to innovative cars such as electric in future.

Yeah, the light blue color is interesting and the car is shining!

Vintage cars look so brand new. They must have maintained them so well.

That red Audi is sure a win win car to me. The classic ferrari looks so fab too. I am not a fan of Harley Davidson but I admit, they’re cool.
