Challenge: Selfie @ Taj Mahal and Back in 24 Hours

This week, we took an adventure-challenge: To go to Agra – Taj Mahal, take a Selfie, and come back to Chennai. All within 24 hours.

How? Catch a Flight to Delhi, Take a Train to Agra, Visit the Taj Mahal, Take a Train back to Delhi & Catch a Flight back to Chennai.

Our flight took off from Chennai to Delhi at 4 A.M. on Monday morning and we landed in Chennai at 6 A.M. on Tuesday morning. If you don’t consider our waiting time at the Chennai airport on the first day, we almost achieved our goal! 🙂

Here are some pics we took at the World Wonder – Taj Mahal 🙂

And here is a short video of the Majestic Taj that I took –

And with that, a dream trip comes to a successful end 🙂

Thanks for the beautiful photos. Who challenged you? What is the purpose of this challenge?

    1. Rajesh K

We challenged ourselves, mainly due to lack of time 🙂

You went as far as Delhi and just stayed for a day.. you just spend atleast 4-5 next time.. there is a lot to see in and around Delhi. Nice photos 🙂

The aim of this trip was to take a selfie with Taj Mahal in the background. Next time, when we get time, we will definitely plan a longer trip to Delhi – I am impressed with the little of Delhi I saw 🙂

The cost has been minimized as far as possible. But some trips are worth that cost 🙂

I have never been to TajMahal and I would love to visit Delhi.
But it is nice to challenge yourself once in a while.

    1. Rajesh K

When you come here, Delhi & Taj Mahal are just a flight & train away respectively 🙂

Oh never heard of such a challenge !! Someone threw that challenge at you or it was self motivated ?
Quite a feat I must say. Tiring is one part of it and also the temptation to stay and explore .
Admire the coordination of logistics…flight , train etc
    Agree…..different experience this.

    1. Rajesh K

It was a self-motivated challenge. Yea, it was tiring but a different experience too.
