Chennai: Refugee Food Festival (Oorum Unavum): June 24,25 – 2023

The Refugee Food Festival (Oorum Unavum Unavu Thiruvizha) is all set to happen from 12.00 P.M. to 8 P.M. on June 24 & June 25 (Saturday & Sunday), 2023.

Venue: Semmozhi Poonga, Cathedral Road, Chennai (Google Maps link for Location)

At this food festival, people can expect to see select food delicacies from Srilanka, Burma (Myanmar), and Afghanistan. These food items will be cooked and presented to you by the refugees of the above-mentioned countries, living in Tamil Nadu.

This two-day festival has been organized by United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees on the occasion of World Refugee Day, 2023.
