Anna Hazareji’s Blog – Anna Hazare Says & Some Quotes from the Blog
India’s biggest Anti-Corruption crusader Anna Hazareji has started a blog to express his opinions and communicate with people. You can access the blog from the URL given below:
Anna Hazareji’s Blog URL – http://annahazaresays.wordpress.com
The purpose of the blog, as stated in his official blog –
“I will be addressing problems faced by people at every step of life and will voice my thoughts through this blog created by the people appointed by me. Interactive communication on this blog will start very soon. You can share your queries, problems, thoughts and emotions with me”
In this post, I would like to present some of my favorite quotes taken from his blog.
“Sustainable development means creating wealth without brutally exploiting humans and natural resources. Ecological and Organic balance is also a priority of a progressive nation”
“People need to understand that forming laws doesn’t necessarily mean its a revolutionary move. Revolution is also a part of your psychological and political process. Corruption is no longer limited to politics but has made its presence felt all over India in an omni-present way”
“People are wise enough to understand what the truth is”
“We are fighting for a competent Jan Lokpal bill. The struggle doesn’t end here. Nearly 80% of the people nationwide are grappling with pitiful conditions created out of corruption at the administrative and political level. There is very little scope for development as corruption takes a strong hand”
“This is the only opportunity we have in-order to get a corruption free India. (Its) Now or Never”
“The voters, before casting their vote should keep in mind the candidate’s character, his contribution towards society… It is of utmost importance that people remain aware”
Technology has been a great help for spreading awareness and organizing people and can be used as an effective tool for those who are suppressed and have to deal with injustice and corruption”
One of those technologies is the Blog – http://annahazaresays.wordpress.com
People can submit their email address in the sidebar box on the right side of that blog below ‘Email Subscription’ to get new articles delivered to their email as and when they are published. Of course, people can express their opinions in the comments section after every post/ article.

The only thing about this blog that I don’t like is that it is not written by Anna himself. I think he dictates the words but as you know from the recent controversy the writer often writes thinks without consulting Anna. I know that mostly celebs too have people writing blogs for them but then it takes away from the authenticity of the blog.
Yeah… I read his blog about a month ago. He is trying to spread the message of anti corruption to a larger audience. Starting a blog is a good step in that direction 🙂
Anti Corruption Tools
It may be an anti-corruption tool if all cash handling more than Rs.100 should be stopped and all transactions of anything for selling or buying may be done through debit/credit card/cheque in every Govt./private deptt. including farmers/retailers. All shop keepers including retailers/Offices should have a machine which will make all transactions through credit or debit card and will give a return receipt. Govt. should come forward to make debit/credit for each and evry citizen of India free of cost.
