Agra Fort, Uttar Pradesh, North India, is a UNESCO World Heritage site that covers 3,80,000 sq. m. 70-feet high boundary walls around the semi-circular site makes it (almost) a walled city. Originally built with bricks prior to 10 CE, Emperor Akbar later built it with red-sandstone and bricks, during 16 CE. Agra Fort was the seat of power for many emperors ruling India and was the second capital during medieval times. More than 30 uniquely styled Mughal monuments are located inside.
