We went with much enthusiasm for the Island Grounds Exhibition today (Sunday 8.1.23). We were thoroughly disappointed seeing the empty stalls.. How can Tamilnadu tourism collect entry fee for empty stalls. Except for five to six Delhi appalam stalls and one or two fancy and masala powder stalls all other stalls are under construction or empty. TTDC should have conveyed to visitors about this at the gate before they buy the ticket. After paying Rs. 40 per adult, we have only witnessed empty stalls (photo enclosed). This was not expected of the government where people believe that everything will be in place before charging entry fee. Please repay Rs. 80 for two persons vide GPay.
Car parking was charging Rs. 120 even though as per Mr Aneez, orgainiser they have to charge only Rs. 100. However after due representation they were good enough to refund the entire Rs. 120/-.
