NGTM Carnival @ YMCA, Chennai (Jul. 1 – 23, 2023)
The NGTM Carnival/Exhibition is happening now at YMCA Grounds, Nandanam/Saidapet, Chennai.
Exhibition Dates: 1st July to 23rd July 2023.
Timing: 10 A.M. to 10 P.M.
Entry Ticket: Rs. 50. (Individual games charged separately).
Venue: YMCA Grounds (Google Maps link). Nearest Bus stop: Nandanam YMCA, Nearest Metro: Nandanam.
Apart from food stalls, regular stalls, selfie points, games for kids and adults, etc., other special attractions (at extra cost) include,
The Beast, Vortex Tunnel, Museum of the Future, Escape House, Giraffee Slide, Trampoline, Animal World, Carnival House, Snow World, Scary House, VR Games, Train Ride, Water Boat, Water Roller, Hammer, Selfie 360, etc.
We went to the NGTM Carnival at Nandanam YMCA Grounds yesterday (15th July 2023). We bought the Combo B at Rs. 500. Here is our review for the individual games/rides,
- Beast – Couldn’t go as there was a large crowd waiting to enter. Looks good if you are physically fit and in a mood to jump around.
- Museum of the Future – Fine, we got a few good selfies here.
- Animal World – We couldn’t go as this was for children.
- Trampoline – Missed it, didn’t locate (Keep and refer to the above layout map when you go.)
- Snow World – In spite of its simplicity of spraying ice particles at high speed, this one was good. Recommended for the experience.
- Scary House – Two people wear ghost costumes and try to scare you. Not that scary.
- Vortex – This was a good surprise as our head was spinning (thalai-suttral) due to the illusion in spite of the floor below us standing in the same place. Go to this ride for a different experience, but get out soon 🙂
- Escape House – When I was young, I took 30 minutes to get out of the escape house at MGM Dizee World. I got out of this one in 4 minutes. Not recommended!

Waste place ever spolied my day no tokens no technology entry 50 for one inside game are 1000 for one and food is not good rather go to VGP
Planned and organized very badly… nobody knew how to manage the crowd.. thought it would be like trade fare but very poorly organized.. long queues for all the games and tickets issuing were not at all planned… lost my watch in the crowd and couldn’t go for many rides due to the crowd.
Is it extended after July 23rd?
