Mini Melts?
Mini Melts Ice cream advertises itself as the WORLD’s COLDEST ICE CREAM!! It seems these ice creams are made at -190 Deg. C and served at -40 Dec. C. Oooh.. that’s COLD ๐ When I found a shop selling this ice cream around my area, I was tempted to try it.ย
As you can see above, this ice cream is not creamy/semi-solid like normal ice creams, but it is solid and takes the shape of minute balls (almost). Once we put the ice cream into our mouth, it melts immediately and becomes/tastes like normal ice cream. It seems we can also use these Mini Melts ice cream pieces as ice cream floats or combine them with cold drinks and desserts. Not a bad combination, I guess. I am yet to try something like that, though! ๐
That’s the one I had (above photo). As usual, my phone camera messed up the close-up shot! I also tasted the pistaย flavor (green). It was nice… I like the way they melt immediately once we put them in the mouth. I guess we can’t keep it outside for long – they’ll surely melt away. They’ll have to be stored in those special coolers that keep them REALLY COLD and SOLID.
Though I like it and think it will make a good combination with other ice creams and desserts, I always have a soft corner for Italian Softy ice creams – I just love their taste, softness and feel. And among ice cream flavors I like Butter Scotch, Pista & Vannila. I’ve not been eating too many ice creams off late, but summer’s coming! ๐
What’s your favorite brand/flavor of ice cream?

Wow! First time coming to see and hear about this kind of ice creamโฆ want to try them now. Will check for this in our area
For me vanilla is all time favorite and I also like butter scotch and chocolate ice creams.
Even in our area it’s new. I guess it will be available everywhere soon… just keep an eye on it ๐

Looks solid – ice cream.
Vanilla, Butter scotch, Pista classic taste is all time favorite.
I guess all these tastes are classic flavors. Somehow, I am not drawn as much towards black current, strawberry and others. They’re good, no doubt. But when these three flavors are available, I don’t prefer others!

Looks yummy!
I don’t like chocolate icecream. Anything else will do! Butter scotch, black currant….no, I have to be on diet!
I too don’t like chocolate flavor – it’s too intense/sweet. I am also exercising restraint with eating ice creams. Health is more important than taste ๐

Low milk, low sweet minimelts may give negative calories. Why? Body heat will be absorbed while eating this. Musical kisses !!
You think body heat will reduce if I eat this? What a comforting excuse to EAT MORE ๐

I love all flavours – chocolate, vanilla, pista, strawberry, butterscotch, black currant,….. list goes on ๐
I think it’s coming across India. It’s an American brand/company, so you can get it there.

Had not heard of it before. And my favourite is dark chocolate gelato! Ice, no milk. It’s not easy to find.
Dark chocolate gelato? I’ll try to remember this name and find it somehow! ๐

I had not heard of this Mini-Melts ice cream. I would definitely like to try them. I will find out if Bangalore has a place selling these ice-creams. Favourite flavours would be Butterscotch, chocolate and almond praline. Actually, there are many more favourites, but these three are all time favourites.
Almond praline? I will try to locate that and eat it ๐

Oooooooh! I am not a very ice-cream person always but there are times when I can eat them endlessly ๐
I love butterscotch, kulfi, fig and honey and pista. I like nutty ice creams too. I like rum and raisin sometimes. Okay, I like them all. Except chocolate – I really don’t like chocolate ice creams :/
I like Arun icecream (their talian delight in my university canteen was to die for), Haagen Daz, BR and home-made (they aren’t soft and are a bit crunchy almost but I love homemade icecreams! )
