Here is the video trailer made by Japan Foundation that gives glimpses into the movies that are being screened –

Today we got the opportunity to watch a Japanese movie named ‘Kingdom’. This is set in 3rd-4th Century B.C. where two young men pursue their ambition of Unifying China which was reeling under a 500-year war between its various territories.

This movie is an excellent historical war thriller. We loved it. It was a full house today at PVR ICON for the inaugural screening. They are hoping people of Chennai will show up in great numbers for the remaining shows too.

The JFF Film fest is playing movies across multiple genres like thriller, romance, comedy, animation, etc. Most of these movies are recent releases.

You can watch the individual movie trailers for most of the films being screened during this film festival from this Youtube Playlist.

As you can see in the above schedule some movies are repeated, so if you miss it once you can catch up the next time it is being screened.

Ya, these movies are good, try to watch them sometime later through streaming services. I think some of these should be available there.
